Recognized for the Colgate Clock and former Corporate Headquarters, world-renowned manufacturing company Colgate-Palmolive pioneered a vision to redevelop 42-acres of Jersey City’s Downtown waterfront, overlooking Downtown Manhattan across the Hudson River. Through a 5-year entitlement approval process with the city, the Master Plan consists of 7 million square feet of commercial, office, residential, retail and community facilities. The Master Plan build out played an integral role in the renaissance of Jersey City’s community through the implementation of transit and pedestrian access. Twenty five years later, the Master Plan has been completed. A comprehensive urban design guideline has been published.
